Study Start WiSe 25/26

Dear freshmen,

we are happy to welcome you at the University of Konstanz.

The Student Council

First things first: the student council consists of students who are committed to promoting exchange between the department and students beyond their studies. We are therefore your point of contact for any matters relating to your studies and act as a bridge between you and your lecturers.

More about the Student Council

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are always available via email and our Discord server. During the semester, but probably also in the first weeks of October, you can find us in the student council room (PZ809). There you can also buy a refreshing drink and chat with us.

Studying

To make it a little easier for you to get started with your studies, we have summarized some important information about your studies here.

ZEuS

You are already familiar with ZEuS from your application. If your enrollment has been successful, you can log in to ZEuS with your university account (firstname.lastname and the corresponding password).

ZEuS

You should make sure that you register for your lectures in ZEuS in good time. After registering, you will find an overview of your lectures under “My studies > Planner of Studies”.

There are two different views: the examination regulations and the module plan.

Examination Regulations

The examination regulations view shows you how your studies are divided into areas: area of basic modules, area of advanced modules and area of supplementary courses.

Module Plan

The module plan is more helpful for Bachelor degree students than it is for Master students --- you will probably fare well ignoring this view and always using the examination regulations view instead.

ILIAS

You can also find important information and materials for your lectures on ILIAS during the semester.

Events

We are delighted to be able to offer you in-person events again, which will help you get started with your studies and get to know your fellow students. Among other things, there is a pizza evening, pub crawl, and, of course, our cabin. We look forward to seeing you!

On this Note

On this note, we hope you have a great start to your studies and look forward to meeting you at events and in the student council room!
